Height Check app for iPhone and iPad

The primary use of Height Check is to enable drivers to determine the height of their vehicle and or load.

The app will provide photographic details of the vehicle, height of the vehicle/load and date and time the measurement was made.
The app will enable drivers of large vehicles or unusual loads to check the height without having to climb the vehicle. This is particularly useful if the vehicle or load is to be picked up from a location not conducive to allowing the driver to measure the load physically.

The accuracy will depend on the operator using accurate reference measurements in order for the app to calculate the height. (If the operator does not have an accurate measurement reference available, their own height could be used as a reference, however this may not be as accurate).
The app can also be used by companies to record and store photographic evidence of their vehicles height and registration, this will assist in proving due diligence in the event of an audit by authorities.

Authorities can also use the app to check vehicle heights at incidents or other investigations, once stored on the device the information could be sent directly from the field to their headquarters.

The app can be used to measure the height of any object, however in all cases care has to be taken to ensure reference distances are correct and markers suitably aligned.

The app includes a tutorial, it is important that users are familiar with the correct application.
